He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Theology (summa cum laude) from Franciscan University of Steubenville, a master's degree in Sacred Theology from the John Paul II Institute of the Lateran University (magna cum laude) and a Juris Doctor from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. He is founder and president of "Common Good," an open movement of Christians building a culture of life, family, freedom, and solidarity with the poor. Fournier has written seven books, numerous booklets, and hundreds of articles on issues related to faith, family, authentic freedom, evangelization, Christian unity and cooperation and the spiritual life. He has been married for thirty years, and he and his wife Laurine have five children and one grandson.
