Bishop Geoffrey Robinson
Couples facing the end of a marriage are filled with questions. What happens next? How does the Church view divorce? Can I get an annulment? How long does it take and what does it involve? Marriage, Divorce & Nullity answers these questions, and more. In an approach that is filled with compassion and understanding, Bishop Geoffrey Robinson begins with a look at some broader questions: What is Christian marriage? How can Christian prepare for marriage? What are the personal and social reasons for marriage breakdown? How can the Church and the Christian community help those facing marriage breakdown? He then offers a thorough description of the annulment process, explaining both the Church's theological approach and the practical steps involved. Addressed to those considering annulment as well as those who wish to learn more about the Church's position on marriage, Marriage, Divorce & Nullity is sensitively written, easy to understand, and filled with helpful advice. A best selling book since 1984, it has helped countless people to find healing during a difficult time in their lives.
Review
"We find expressed in these pages not only an intense desire to remain faithful to the Gospel teachings, but also a deep concern for couples who have faced tragic situations in their wedded life."
